Write for us
Genuine Screen Culture welcomes pitches that help readers notice how screens work in shared spaces and community life. Bring a precise question, a clear point of view and a subject that can be handled responsibly.
What we welcome
We are interested in pitches about public screens, community media, screen design, viewing habits and the history of screens in shared settings. Useful contributions explain a choice, compare formats, clarify a term or explore a distinct screen-related custom without repeating familiar generalities.
Make the pitch specific
Tell us the central question, why it suits this publication, what the reader will understand or be able to notice, and how you would approach it. Flag any sources, image needs, potential conflicts of interest or uncertainty. A short proposal is enough; do not send a complete article unless requested.
Sending a proposal
Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option, then include your pitch in the message. We cannot promise to accept or reply to every proposal. Please do not include confidential information or material you do not have permission to share.
A screen is never just a screen
Its setting, audience and timing matter. We pay attention to those details, and to the everyday choices that shape what people see.
